Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), is a member of the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference (PSAC). They are a Division 2 program. They finished last season with a 21-5 record.

Broadway, not to worry. I promise you the yard will be abuzz with comments, observations and predictions from the majority of our fan base that post here. Most of us will have a take(s), and will be eager to share it. Even though this is just a low key "coming out event", it is much anticipated, and the exploits of the players will be talked about and analyzed for the rest of the week.

Several questions that we've had, and been pondering all summer, will be answered. The biggest of which is: who the 5 starters will be. We finally get to see everyone in live action for 40 minutes.

Everyone will be particularly interested in seeing the freshmen. We've heard so much about them. Their exploits and accomplishments in high school have been lauded and well publicized. Now we get to see how they their "game" translates at the next level against players that maybe/are as skilled and quick as they are.

This game will be IUP's first exhibition game of the season as well. IUP, while not a powerhouse, will provide UConn with a decent opponent to try various personnel combinations on, as well as see how each member performs or blends in to the fabric of the team's plays, defensive schemes and concepts against someone other than teammates or practice players.

We'll finally get to see where Saniya Chong is at this point. Is she completely healthy? Has her confidence, defense and quickness improved enough to allow her to step up and become the starting point guard this season? Some of these questions may be answered Tuesday. We also get to see Moriah Jefferson's heir apparent, Crystal Dangerfield (Crystal Dangerfield) in action. She will no doubt be the one player everyone is most interested in seeing. To quote retired NFL linebacker Bart Scott: "Can't wait".
