In the past, even in early games, opposing players would blow past our guys into the paint for lay ups. I have noticed that one time in three games. Can't say why. Don't know if it's scheme or individual play. But it's definitely an improvement and makes us much tougher defensively.

Another thing. None of these games have been remotely close. They shouldn't be, but in years past, we have started slow in these games. And this is without Hawk, Ajax, and Samson now. Wait til we are healthy.

Joey has given up a few. But the individual team defense has looked good. Need to see it against P5 comp before we can be confident.

No idea! I assumed he was only coming in for shooting, but he's been a great surprise defensively so far. Makes sense for a Hurley team
