New Duke women's basketball coach Kara Lawson is interviewed by NCAA.com's Autumn Johnson. Kara tells us that her first step this season is to build a strong relationship with each player, and her short tern goals for the team. Lawson also shares how relationships with Pat Summitt, Mike Krzyzewski and her father have helped to mold her into the person she is today.

I chatted with Kara before she broadcast the U.S. v. Japan game at GWU in 2018. She was very pleasant.
