The bright side for me:

• UConn will be less attractive as a university, which means it will be easier for my kids to be accepted there.
• Because UConn will be less attractive, it will not be able to increase its tuition, room and board, etc. as rapidly, and it will be more affordable when my kids do attend.
• UConn hoops games will be a much easier ticket than they have been in decades. No need to buy or plan in advance. Just show up if there's nothing better to do, which won't be often.
• I will no longer care nearly as much about UConn sports, especially basketball, which has been among my top passions for decades. This will free up much more time and money for my family and other pursuits.
• No more worrying about conference affiliation. IJDM.
• Less time on the Boneyard!
