So the Athletic Department has collected its $ 1.125 Million to try to keep UConn Athletics fiscally in the black.
Couple this with Jeff Jacobs recent column to protect the Women's Athletic teams at all costs. The B1G has already made the assessment that a game against UConn counts as a Power 5 game for scheduling purposes & has opened a satellite office in Manhattan.
If the Huskies are condemned to G5 purgatory, maybe it is time to annually schedule a UConn "Home Game"against the B1G Elite (PSU, OSU, Michigan, Sparty, Wisconsin, Nebraska) & Rutgers in the Meadowlands until such time that conference realignment brings UConn into the P5 fold.
