On another note: future road trips...

Last week we were visited by my wife's best friend growing up along with the friend's husband. They were in from Colorado visiting family & friends. They are avid UConn hoops fans (especially the Ladies team). Over dinner the discussion turned to UConn sports in general. When I mentioned that the Huskies football team has future road trips to Colorado State & Wyoming, the friend's husband piped in that they live 40 minutes away from Fort Collins & about an hour away from Laramie. I said that I'd love to go to at least one of those games & he replied "Stay with us, but I don't know if you'll be able to get tickets". I said that we could get tickets through UConn. Now to convince the Mrs.that we need to go on a road trip to Colorado.

We do play Wyoming and Air Force on the road in the coming years, but not Colorado State 😉

Next year, Wyoming on Nov 28 in Laramie may be a tad less balmy than Oct 31 versus the Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs.
