Not much here really, but I'll take what I can get in the off season.

I thought Omar was ahead of schedule with what he produced last season, so if he thinks "the real Omar" has yet to be unleashed, I can only imagine how good he'll be next year.

Hurt his wrist also but had double hip surgery

He has a ways to go before we define him as a "good pro" but I think he can get there. As of now a tweener because he doesn't have good enough handle for the next level. Having said that, he has 3 years to improve where he needs to and he's a tough, tough kid. I am sure he is a relentless worker and this will all help him make the improvements necessary to move on from being a very very good college player to the next level. Plus he's a real nice kid from a great family........he knows what it takes!

I loved what Omar gave us last year. If he thinks he was limited because of his hips and he comes back from surgery 100%, look out.

Omar said he couldnt get to the rim like how he wanted last year. Hopefully we will see more of this one he's healed up

Exhibit A for why we need to play more home games at Gampel. What recruit wouldn't want to play in front of that crowd?

Omar was coming along very strong before the wrist injury, and that was playing with two bum hips. We talk more about Bazz/Boat/DeAndre first when it comes to our perimeter foursome but it wouldn't shock me if Omar jumped into our top 2 this year.
