Ollie just has great stuff for the pressers after the game. Easy to see why recruits love him and why the players play hard for him all game long.

I had no five men at the end, no fours, but we had each other. And that’s what it’s all about. That’s a team I want to coach, right there. I’m glad I had these guys in the bus with me. ”

and later on......

I tell the kids all the time, ‘go the second mile. There’s less traffic on the second mile than on the first.”

His quotes make sense. Yogi, not so much.

Frankly, I'm amazed at how good he is at coming up with this stuff. He may be genius.

Agreed, he's actually more like the anti-Yogi Berra. More inspirational/biblical than nonsensical.

In fairness, he probably had 17 different head coaches in the pros. He probably picked up a few things along the way.

I love his post-game last night. If it was Calhoun he would have spent a good chunk talking about how they got horribly outrebounded. Ollie brushed past it and on to the good stuff.

KO has exceeded my expectations in many ways. Just a top notch guy. I wouldn't want anyone else coaching this team.

When asked why the players trust him so much, Ollie said "they can get a good look at a t-bone by sticking their heads up a bull's ass, but they'd probably rather take the butcher's word for it."

I heard KO asked why would somebody put a guarantee on a game. He responded with "I could a guaranteed piece of if you'd like. That's all it is, isn't it? Hey, if you want me to take a dump on center court and mark it guaranteed, I will. I got spare time. But for now, for our fan's sake, for our player's sake, ya might wanna just watch the game.

Was he channeling Bobby Knight?

Thanks.

I was going to google it and then I thought Dale Norman could be some freakish Boneyard-created character that only exists in the minds of this distorted horde.
Can't know who Norman Dale is without this.
