Ollie gets tossed

Honestly I'm a bit disappointed the crowd didn't burn the place to the ground.

There seems to be something in the air at this point, where everyone in the arena (louisville included) knows this game is a complete joke. That ref owes bookies some serious $$$

FWIW, I didn't see UConn coming back to win this game before the ejection. But to not even have a chance like that....wow

Lose the battle win the war.

Ollie had to sprout his nuts. Good time to do it. Obvious blown call and the ref got baited in to the T' s.

Good refs are watching and gaining respect for Ollie.

The only good thing that happened tonight is Ollie showed he's not to be messed with. Pretty sure he wanted to fight that guy.

I am happy that I decided not to go because instead of wearing a tie on Tuesday it might have been handcuffs

I think Ollie lost his s*** on the Giffey no-call. Rightfully so. He wasn't working the refs, he was just beside himself. Just glad he had the self restraint not to punch the ref in the face. (I think if Calhoun was still coaching we would have been without our HC for the next 8 games.)

The first tech was deserved for Ollie's reaction. The second was silliness. Neither should have happened, if The ref doesn't blow the call completely.

I don't think so. Badly blown call. Let him blow some steam. It wasn't like Postner jumping in to guard Napier. Let that go and the 2nd one never happens.

Coaches don't lose it like that after one blown call no matter how bad. They lose it like that when they've hit their limit with the officiating, and then a blown call like that happens. That was a boiling point incident. It was a straw on the camel's back incident. I'm sure he'll say all the right things post-game, but a guy like Ollie losing it like that tells you all you need to know. I don't need to tell you the refs were atrocious and heavily favoring Louisville, Coach Ollie already did.

In 25 years of UConn basketball worse officiated game I have seen. I was at the game so I don't see all the replays but one bad call after another.

Watching the replay, the ref had a little too much fun throwing his arms forward in the ejection. Smug ass wipe. I'd be content knowing he's going to get disciplined.

Except he isn't.

UConn made a lot of cheap fouls. But on the TV, it looked like L'Ville got away with being a bit more physical. Still, Kromah had some just awful awful fouls that truly were fouls. Boatright too. Hell, even Napier. They were all soft fouls.

For god's sake, if you're gonna foul, foul them hard.

That was a horrendous non-call after a pro-Louisville whistle to that point in the game. That said, I don't think what Ollie did deserved getting ejected. T'd up? Sure. But not a double T. I am surprised Ollie didn't get his moneys worth leaving the court. Kind of like a baseball manager after he's been ejected undressing an ump, I thought Ollie would argue a bit more. I agree that he earned respect tonight if he didn't have it already.

No man, it's good he didn't go ape shit. That death stare was enough to tell the refs that they don't f- with Ollie.

This all went down right in front of UConnPuneet and I.

The non call was bad. The first T was kinda understandable.

The second T was incredible.

It was so awful you almost had to admire the lack of duck*s a ref has to give to issue it. It was like watching an idiot paint a Rembrandt. Its a good thing for Kevin's sake they had the state cop there or he might have been suspended the rest of the year for what he would have done to that guy and then TV Teddy.

You might have seen an outpouring of bail money from UCONN nation that would have afforded you a permanently comfortable lifestyle.

My wife got our tickets from a season ticket holder that she works for at UConn and they were pretty close to that action. I'm not saying we could hear everything that was said, but we never heard any cursing. KO said "What are you doing?" numerous times and I heard him say "you've got to be kidding me". The place did get loud and other things could have been said, but the quick double T was ridiculous and absolutely unwarranted. A good ref would have realized the controversial call he just made and given the coach a little venting time. KO was pretty animated in getting down to the corner, so maybe the first T was warranted, maybe not. But the 2nd one was atrocious.
