Olivia Vukosa, the No. 3 recruit in the girls' SC Next 100 Class of 2026, has committed to UConn, she announced on Tuesday.

Vukosa is the first 2026 commit for the reigning national champions. She chose the Huskies over LSU, Ohio State, Texas and South Carolina.

The Whitestone, New York, native is a current senior at Christ the King in Queens, which has sent a number of players to Storrs, including Hall of Famer Sue Bird and Tina Charles. She cites that pipeline as a key factor in choosing Geno Auriemma's program.

Welcome to UConn Olivia!!!

We have several great games in November....high quality opponents. I sure hope Olivia and
her family can attend some of them....and get a sense of where she might fit in...maybe partake
of a lovely dinner provided by Kathy A? That allowed?

Congratulations to the Vukosa family and to the UCONN family!
A "Royal" addition to the UCONN family (i.e. the Christ the King
teams are the "ROYALS". So much for that "hint' that Olivia
in an ORANGE uniform indicated TEXAS. The CTK home jersey
is orange. I'm getting a little giddy = forgive me but a
Christ the "King" member is coming from "QUEENS" to join
the "ACE' of a team of players and coaches! Happiness is
a warm HUSKY and the BONEYARD. Z

That high-low game is going to be nuts next year. Olivia already spaces out the entire floor. This will be a dream school for an upcoming pure shooter because big O will demand more than one defender down there, and this will leave one or two players open for a shot.

Once again, THE RICH JUST KEEP GETTING RICHER!!!

Hoping to see either Bjorn or Robinson join the BIG O at UConn. Either would make for an exceptional recruiting class.
Don't forget about Sara Okeke. 6'3" from Spain. She is still in the mix.

How many ways can you spell Sara, Serah, Sarah?

"Ultimately, what sealed my decision was how I felt around the team. During my visit, the players welcomed me like I was already part of the family, and that sense of belonging made UConn truly feel like home."

As we've always said!

Now Sarah has a partner for her final two seasons.
