I had to wonder where Tina Charles was by comparison, as she was just about as good as any of them. So i looked her totals up and she missed in two categories. She had 244 blocks and 180 assists. However, her point totals were 2,346 and she had 1,367 rebounds. So when Tina got the ball she scored and there was no need to get an assist. By any other measure she would be right at the top of the list of Uconn centers. Ono is however in rarified air and seemingly getting better every day. From this point forward i expect some great performances in the post season from her.

Liv has been highly underrated over the past few years by ordinary fans who "cannot see the forest for the trees" .. however, she has not gone unnoticed by basketball pundits and will be a high "lottery pick"! If she doesn't get mugged [like last year], she will lead us to the NC.

It's too bad Liv won't get 1,000 rebounds. The thousand and thousand club (points and rebounds) is also an elite group (which includes Jamelle Elliott).

No, but she could get the 900+ before she leaves, which is still great.

Yeah but if you asked Geno, he would tell you she padded her rebounding stats with all of the offensive rebounds off of her innumerable missed layups (basically shots within 3 feet of the basket). :D

Yeah 3 feet from the basket surrounded by 3 defenders, all hanging on her arms, eh?

Actually most of the time no!
Liv doesn't miss too many shots compared to others; she's leading the team in FG% at over 60% .. and she's leading the team in a few other categories too like rebounds, blocked shots and assists & successful screens, eh? Not too shabby! Plus she's a lottery pick!!!

Liv is our best rim protector and rebounder. She is the last line of defense in our schemes. She has improved in her foul shooting and bunny finishing. She can control Boston enough for us to beat SC. She will be need against Stanford's front line or against Cunane from NCST. She is ready for the Dance so lets Tango ladies.!!!!!!

and to think some people wanted her benched, just laughable.
Well, you have to admit, those people who thought this way, had a great source for their mindset: Geno. At the end of last season, he all but said that it'd be a long season for Liv if she didn't improve. Hence, Dorka's arrival. So, people wanting her benched is not laughable... Thankfully, Liv has shown improvement.
