Perhaps a more interesting poll would be:

What attemps more FGs?
O Vivian Gray
O Chennedy Carter

Carter is averaging 20 attempts per game, to Gray's 18.5.

We shall see.

FGA for both are close to their ppg, fwiw.
Gray 18.8 ppg
Carter 21.1 ppg

But I think this game will be determined by who wins the paint and the glass.

OSU takes the lead a couple of minutes before the half.

32-28 Ags at half. Mack is having an outstanding game for OK State.

A&M played a lot of the quarter with Johnson and Jones on the bench. Ciera has 2 fouls. Mack was abusing Jones on the post so Blair went to Anna Dreimane, which requires switching to zone.

UConn should have taken a look at Mack. She would have been a very effective option.

What is the rule on palming the ball? Time it looks like Chennedy carries or palms the ball all the time.
I will say she has nice arc on her free throws, so I have to take a closer look at her 3 pt shot as to why her percentage is so abysmal.

The wheels are falling off for Oklahoma State in the second half. Carter’s beastin’.

Wow. A&M opening up a can on OkSt in 3Q. I think Carter is something like 7 of 11 for this quarter. Kayla Wells is also chipping in nicely, which is good to see because she's been in a bit of a shooting slump.

Was N Mack recruited by the big programs? She has been a consistent force in the paint.

60-41 TAMU end of third

Carter 29 pts, 4 reb, 3 ast, 4 stl

74-62 TAMU final

Carter 31 pts, 5 reb, 3 ast, 4 stl

The collegiate stars have a tendency to get the benefit of the doubt from refs with palming more than others. Ionescu is often also accused of palming on many of her drives. The borderline palming allows the player to separate better from a defender on hesitation moves.

It is not borderline. They are palming the ball. Should be called. You see it from kids all the way to the NBA. Either call it or just change the rules top to bottom so it can be used by everyone.

Are you seriously arguing that the rule is enforced more tightly in the NBA?

Nowadays the call should be made when players are not palming or carrying the ball. Nobody dribbles anymore, they are either palming or carrying the ball.
