At least it's a P5 game to go along with WVU vs. Kansas State but still, Tuesdays are very light on good games and especially when I could use a pick me up from last night...:(

Here's something for the SEC to chew on-both Oklahoma and WVU have better RPI's than Tennessee and are close to Arkansas...Whodda thunk...

OSU defeated OU in their back yard 73-66.

Sharp shooter Taylor Robertson was shooting blanks - 2-10 / 5-6 FT for 11 points.

As a Big12 member, what are you thoughts on who should make it from there? My view is really only 3 teams are deserving after these two clunkers AT HOME tonight by WVU and Oklahoma. Baylore (duh!) TCU and Texas. After that, yuk. I guess Iowa State who is at RPI-49 one slot after Tennessee at #48 has to hope the committee sees that (doubt it thought, that ORANGE blinds everyone).
So what say you my former Southwest Conference foe?

The Big 12 is a messy conference this year. As @DefenseBB says, at this time only Baylor, TCU and Texas look safe for the NCAA tournament.

Baylor: headed for a #1 seed
TCU: headed for a #6 or #7 seed
Texas: headed for a #7 or #8 seed

After that, there are 4 teams that are squarely on the bubble:

Oklahoma State (RPI #44)
Oklahoma (RPI #45)
Iowa State (RPI #49)
West Virginia (RPI #56)

It's still too early to say which or how many of these teams four will make the tournament. West Virginia still has the road win at Mississippi State and will be in IF they can turn around this awful losing streak they're on. The other 3 teams are so closely bunched that it's hard to differentiate between them. Today's loss to OSU is not really a "bad" loss for Oklahoma in terms of RPI or resume.

The other thing to keep in mind when talking about "who's in, who's out" is that it's overly simplistic to focus on any one team or conference in a vacuum. Tournament selection is a comparison game, so ultimately it'll come down to how the resumes of bubble teams across the entire country compare to each other.

Baylor and Texas, TCU is 8-2 in the conference, those are the only three locks.
The other teams are spinning their wheels.

As to what regional they should play in, I'm not sure. I don't follow teams RPI ranking.
