Oklahoma @ South Dakota St - 12/06/17

I mentioned this game in the "Hump Day" thread as well. Probably the most intriguing game from a competitive standpoint.

In view of Oklahoma's recent struggles (including losses to Little Rock and Florida), SDSU has to be deemed the favorite, especially playing at home. Louisville just narrowly escaped a loss here the other day.

Whoa, no Pierre-Louis for Okahoma tonight. Didn't make the trip. No reason given.

I wonder whether she will play against USF on Saturday.

I'm hoping that our transfer A. Rader will finally be eligible to get her first playing time for us against them. I'm really looking forward to seeing her.

have to say, in that first Q, I don't remember seeing so many players going to the floor. worrisome that they are a bit out of control. stuff happens.

Just read the Oklahoma forum and nobody knows why Pierre Louis didnt make the trip.

The postgame press conference will be one to pay attention to.

Oklahoma is battling hard and still hanging around, down 10 late in 3Q.

Only 8 players are in uniform for Oklahoma. Turbulent times for Sherri Coale's team.

Still can't believe Charlie Crème listed OU as a #6 seed in his early tournament bracket.

Whoa... it's a 2 pt game now
SDSU really struggling on offense now and Oklahoma has really seized the momentum.

3-point game early in 4Q.

Huge play. Llanusa of Oklahoma just fouled out. Sooners down to 7 players now.

Still at 3-point game with 8:00 to play.

Can’t really discredit him too much. 6 seed makes them a top 25 team and they were ranked in the preseason. With what they had coming back I’m a little surprised to be honest. Gabbi Ortiz, Maddie Manning, and Pierre Louis are a pretty good nucleus and Shania Pellington was a top international recruit. Something is a miss for sure. Really admire Sherri Coale so I hope they turn the season around but it’s not going to get easier with USF next and the Big12 conference.

Not sure if you are agreeing or disagreeing with me. I don't think they should have been ranked in the Top 25 based on the seniors they lost and the 2 freshmen transfers who bolted resulting in a very small roster.

Final: SDS 67 OU 61.

It will be interesting to see whether Vionise Pierre-Louis plays at home against USF on Saturday.

Tough loss for Oklahoma. They fought hard to close the deficit to 2 points but could get no closer. A couple of crucial calls went against them in the final few minutes, including an offensive foul on Manning.

They still had 3 of their top 4 scorers, as well as their top 3 rebounders, coming back. That's less than what most teams lost.

Any word on why she didn't travel to this game?
