SDSU played a respectable half, but no more. I wonder how we all think this team compares to past NC winners. I’d say this team would have beaten any other winners from the Paige era. I think they’d have beaten the NC winners from the previous five years too. I suspect the Stewie teams would have beaten them — the first two for sure, and probably the fourth one. I’m not as sure of the third one. I know it’s folly to try to compare teams from eras more disparate than that. But I still wonder how to compare this team to Maya’s teams or Diana’s. [/QUOTE]
