Not a shot at the messenger, Emshorts, but what do we expect them to say? We have our sights set on 4 ACC teams and are trying to hard to lure them away from the conference?

the Ohio State AD stating emphatically that they're not planning on adding anyone could be the best news I've heard in quite a while. These ADs can't even tell the truth by accident so the B1G additions should be confirmed by March Madness.

Per the story: "That's why Smith says the 14-team Big Ten is “not doing anything right now” in the realignment game and hasn't had any substantial talks on such matters in recent months."

Doesn't he talk to the Ohio State President, E. Gordon Gee?

From an earlier story:

It doesn’t appear that the Big Ten is necessarily content to stay at 14 members. According to the minutes of the Dec. 5 Athletic Council meeting obtained by the Dispatch, Gee said “there has been ongoing discussion” about expansion and “believes there is movement towards three or four super conferences that are made up of 16-20 teams.”
When a student member of the Athletic Council asked Gee what direction the Big Ten might take, Gee said “there are opportunities to move further south in the (E)ast and possibly a couple of Midwest universities.”

No one talks to Gee. For good reason. The guy can't keep his mouth shut.
