Maryland just looks listless. Ohio State has definitely improved from the start of the season, but Maryland should still be beating them easily. Both Jones and now Watson have gone to the bench with 3 fouls each. Charles is keeping them afloat with 19 points, but man the energy is pretty abysmal.
 
Wow, Ohio State really has been MD's nemesis in the past few years. OSU has won 4 of the last 5 vs. the Terps.
 
OSU has a lot of newcomers, so maybe it’s taken them some time to gel. Grande has been a disappointment, I’d say. They seem to be leaning on Crooms more and more.

Too many bad calls going against OSU, while Maryland got away with fouls that weren't called. OSU should have won this game if the officiating had been better. Did anyone happen to get the attendance of the game, it looked like the place was almost empty.
 
Ok, so does the voting public actually take notice that MD was over ranked and should fall to 10-15 range? They have not played anyone and struggled vs. this Ohio State team...
 
It certainly looks like the BIG is up for grabs this season.

She also had an incredible reverse layup that was so good, the ref gave a big smile and Oden with a circus shot inside. But Thome is very steady in the post Down to the wire. 71-70 Purdue with :24 seconds. Michigan with the ball. Thome seems the best option.



Michigan had a good shot at the end but just clanked it.

Purdue gets out with the win.

Purdue holds on. Other than the win over Minn, Mich has been pretty disappointing this year. Now 1-2 in conf and could be 2-4 with games @MD and @IA coming up.

Michigan does have a win over Missouri, which may or may not prove mildly significant by the end of the season.
 
Maryland right now is a poor defensive team. Slow in the backcourt. Very poor on rotations. On offense they look solid except they missed a lot of layups. Austin has played poorly since the beginning of Big 10 play. I really like the Juhasz girl. She has the potential to be a future All American.

Michigan shot 52.8% fga 40.0% 3P 76.9% FT and still lost. Purdue shot pretty well too. Blocks seemed to be the big difference for Purdue... also had the home court.
 
Just peeking in at the Oklahoma game. Yikes. Getting blown out by Kansas State 80-51 with 2 minutes to play. Any thoughts that OK might be emerging as a good team based on performance vs. UConn seem like wishful thinking...

Ohio State is 4-8 and MD squeeks by them at home. I am sure Maryland will remain in the top 10. The "voting public" is totally ignorant, they just look at records.
