Who says this thread has to start on game day. Besides, I am suppose to be in the woods with sharp things getting my first ever National Forest Christmas tree tomorrow and it is suppose to storm. In other words, I may not get back! So:

UConn drops 93 on Buckeyes. Buckeyes 47.

Welcome to the big leagues Coach McGuff.... Uconn 90-48.

.-.
85-45 UConn. Can't see OSU keeping the game interesting.

I'm going to follow Saragin's formula for the point spread, UCONN 80 Ohio St 47

When OSU and Uconn played a few years back during the streak with Jantel Lavender, Sammy P and Tayler Hill, the game wasn't close very long. Now OSU is worse and Uconn is even better so...As big of a bummer as it is for me to say this game won't be competitive at all..It'll be a great learning experience for the Bucks...?? As it is for any team who plays UConn...

Uconn 94 OSU 42

Yep. I think we all looked at OSU as unranked and likely a blowout. Instead, they played us pretty much even for the 2nd half, and it was a very disjointed effort by UCONN. No flow at all. Credit to OSU. I think they have a lot of upside this season and McGuff will do great things there.

It's sorta humorous that some of our fans are so entitled that they thought a 7 woman UConn team, with an 8 day lay off, and heading into exams was going to go out today and perform the basketball equivalent of Beethoven's Symphony.

I was the only one who picked Marist to win...but only by 1 point. They could have won by 30 or more.

Well, in a way they did perform the basketball equivalent of Beethoven's Symphony.

But they emulated Ludwig's 1st or 2nd Symphonies (his early/lesser works), not the incomparable masterpieces numbered #3, #5, #6, or #9.

You mean Ludwig has 9 and we only have 8?
