Maybe the rules for selecting and seeding need to be reposted for our largely uninitiated brethren to read and comprehend. Far too many posters are thinking with their heart and not their head. Big picture, there are 7 teams in my view with the talent or talent and coaching to win it all. UCLA and USC clearly have great talent and depth if not questionable coaching.eventually one of them could win it all. ND has 7 high quality players and an up and coming coach but they have as of yet to win any big games in March under Ivey’s tutelage. Could this be their year? SCar, UConn and LSU have the talent and proven coaching staffs to perform well and win it all. Texas has talent and a respected coach capable so they have to be considered a favorite. Two other teams I am curious about are: NC State and Kentucky seem a tad light on talent to me to make a serious run but teams and coaches can get hot as both Moore and Brooks have proven in the past. Seeding of #1 or #2 won’t matter as the Elite 8 will be quality teams. Why everyone is so perseverated on the 1 seed is excessive and silly. Let’s watch the last game at home, the 3 BET games and then see how the other conferences proceed.
