UConn's effort was really poor in the first half but Donato and company have made several ridiculous calls all in Marquette's favor...Crowder gets every frigging call!

The refs have called two things that have killed UConn's momentum:
1) the offensive "foul" on Roscoe - which was a bit questionnable
2) the technical, which was a good call
UConn is killing itself shooting 5-15 from the foul line and leaving Crowder open from three. The first is just bad shooting the second is piss-poor defense by Olander/Smith/Giffey.
I re-watched the Roscoe foul. He plowed right into him, like a complete moron. Foul, period. Why he needed to run full-steam into a smaller player who was stationary is beyond me.
The Donato call at the end was incredibly awful.
So bad calls by the refs:
So bad reffing cost UConn 11 points.
- Called off Boatright 3 on a horrid off the ball call offensive foul (-3 points). The defender was not even close to being set. His feet aren't even on the ground.
- Fast break DJO layup that came off a kickball by Crowder (-2 points)
- Out of bounds called on Oriakhi when clearly off Crowder (-4 points)
- Foul on Napier when Marquette player obviously pushes him to the ground (-2 points)
True but at least the officials showed up. Uconn didn't.UConn's effort was really poor in the first half but Donato and company have made several ridiculous calls all in Marquette's favor...Crowder gets every frigging call!
