Offense not ready for prime time

There is too much pressure on Shirrefs constantly. I've been saying for a,while the interior 3 guys are lacking physicality and athleticism. I really liked what I saw of Rutherford last year. Wish he would get a shot at guard.

Especially frustrating to see Samra struggle.

Johnson snaps should go to max permanently.

I don't think offensive struggles are surprising. There are glimpses of improvement. And Yes, it sucks seeing Samra struggle. Especially since he never had a RS year and is on his 3rd or 4th OLine coach.

Young line and young RB's still have trouble picking up safety blitzes and delayed blitzes.

RJ has to fight his way back in the rotation. He has talent.

And until it is ready to play like a major college program - one that aspires to be in a P5 conference - UConn will continue its struggles. Right now, if the D gives up more than a single TD, the game is essentially over.
