The Lady Monarchs & Techsters were the two great non-major powers of the 80s and 90s in WCBB. And they had a pretty good rivalry for a while -- they played each other every year from 1979-1991, sometimes meeting in the tourney as well.
Now they'll be in the same conference, as both are expected to join Conference USA.
They'll never be the same programs they once were, but nice to see them together again. And hopefully the higher-profile conference helps them.
