Been here in Charlottesville for 10 years now and not since 2nd to last(Va. Tech final), home game last year (GT)with 25K in the stands in a 65K stadium, have I seen, and felt such despair and hopelessness. UVA kept their HC 2 years too long down here and they are a mess. Slow & slower. QB transfer from E. Carolina, not much, threw 3 TD's but 2 after the game long gone. A couple of UVA receivers with speed, but no running game. (Richmond is no patsie, #4 ranked FCS team, the QB is pre season CAA player of the year. UR broke a long run and UVA safety looked like he was running in mud.) As noted they have to fly out to UO next week, get beat up, return and travel to UCONN. They should be ripe, don't wish injury on the Middie's QB, but if we can get by NAVY, 3-0 is well within reach....Coming up, Looking forward to tailgating up with the '73 team.

Oregon didn't light the world on fire themselves today.
