O.T.: R.I.P John Hillerman

John Hillerman, who played Higgins on Magnum P.I. and numerous other characters over the years, has died. He was one of those distinctive supporting actors on a Magnum show that really was a marker for an entire period in American culture. Personally, I had not thought about him in years, but when I saw the news, it really got to me. That show, and only a few others, were a real reflection of the 80s, for better and worse.

His character in Magnum PI was strongly distinctive in an entertaining and pleasureful way.

I can't believe it was 30 + years already since Magnum was in its hey day.......... RIP John, you added some unique class to that show.
