Plus it solidifies INF defense and Lowrie would give some needed LH balance to the lineup. Flip Andujar across the diamond to play 1B, look for a smaller deal for Bird, and if the roster still needs tweaking after 2019, the financial flexibility will be a huge asset for next year's monster free agent class.
