Very hard to see whether he can make a case for overcoming these charges. I just feel badly for Lorin and her kid sister.

"Old" news, having broken in July. The photo, as well, is at least three years old, both of which (to me) casts doubt on the reporter's motives and abilities.

Regardless, I hope for everyone involved, it proves untrue.

I suspected this was an old story. Having read most of it, my guess is the accused and his lawyer, who are quoted fairly extensively, wanted the story to be published. Looking for local sympathy perhaps?

It appears that, while the case is "old news", they just got around to issuing an indictment.

Based on the family dynamic (and an incarcerated third party plaintiff piling on), I'd certainly withold any jusdgement in this case.

A tragedy regardless of eventual outcome.
