The NSCAA preseason poll for men's soccer was released on August 2nd. UConn landed just outside the top 25 in this poll. I'm a little surprised UConn is rated this low since they made the NCAA tournament last season, and from what I can tell, almost everyone on the squad is back from what was a very young team last season.

Four top 25 teams on UConn's schedule: #9 Notre Dame; #10 Georgetown; #12 SMU; and #19 South Florida; plus an exhibition match against #25 Rutgers at Morrone Stadium on Saturday, August 20th.
