UConn has to play their game. Last year we didn't have MoJeff to break the press. Yes, Kentucky brings a different kind of pressure. When Moriah breaks it, we'll have lots of options. Look for her to lob it to Breanna if she gets in trouble. None of Kentucky's players can jump that high. Breanna just has to hold the ball above her head like she did today.

I thought Doty was Uconn's PG.

Whatever the few on the boneyard say, the press exclaims and now Geno admits, this is a team in transition with the heavy lifting transitioning (as it should ) to the younger players who scored 52 of the teams 76 points yesterday (of course including KML).

It would be great if Stef was at 100%, if Caroline had had that magical senior year, if Bria was performing at her accustomed efficiency, if Kelly was not worn down from 4 years of giving up her body (she was great yesterday in shutting down Alyssa again).

So who is left...the kiddie corps. growing up fast and showing their stuff.
We may not win it all this year (we might), but their emergence yesterday was mighty heartening for the future and a pleasure to behold.

It has the feel of a different team. I love it.
