What is the next move while we wait?
I still hold out hope for an ACC invite. Assuming that we haven't already been told one is coming, what's the best move, strategically?
I don't see the BBs allowing the rumored six expansion, anymore. I know I wouldn't. The first thing I would do is try to form a coalition with the remaining FB schools for scheduling in the event of the dissolution of the BE FB conference. Maybe invite the rumored six under a separated FB banner, but I doubt any would join a zombie FB only conference.
As the reigning big brand in BB I would prefer staying in the BE for all other sports.
I would not want to join CUSA/MWC or a nonBCS conference in any form.
Bowl invites would take a huge hit, but its survival mode for Uconn FB in 27 months if no one comes calling.
Even though everyone knew a BE team was going to the B12, to hear it bums me out as if it were a surprise.
