NCAA to give revenue for academic performance

Mike DeCourcy points out the problem with this.

New NCAA rule basically will pay schools for committing academic fraud

North Carolina was ahead of it's time. They would have cleaned up.

This appears to be a weak attempt to offset the "pay the damned players already" movement and future lawsuits. "No, look, we're promoting academics, not winning teams." Just more sleazebag bulldooty from Emmerett & company.

Schools pay players to play (schollie) and NCAA pays schools for kids to perform acedemically. I think it seems backwards which is typical of the NCAA.

The NCAA never seems too concerned with something actually going wrong. The main goal appears to be premeditated absolution for that wrongdoing.
