Highly unlikely Notre Dame makes the tournament unless they win the ACC Post Season Tournament.

They have 11 Conference Games remaining including two games against Louisville and one against Florida St. If the Miami game was a turning point, I can see them winning 7 or 8 of their remaining conference games. If not, they'll split these 11 games by winning 5 or 6 of the 11 games. IMO best case scenario Notre Dame enters the ACC tournament with 15 Wins and 15 Losses. If they do that, the won't have to play the first day of the ACC Tournament. With their short bench, Notre Dames needs to avoid playing on the first day of the ACC Tournament.

Thoroughly believe ND needs to run the table in the ACC tourney.
To do so, they need reinforcements. At that point, the WNBL in Australia will be over and perhaps these three Domers can go straight to Greensboro:

Kat Westbeld (left), straight from winning a title in the Puerto Rican League, signed on in Adelaide to take the place of Crystal Langhorne (injured knee) and is playing with fellow 2014 ND recruit, Brianna Turner (right). Lindsay Allen is with the Melbourne Boomers (although she recently suffered another knee injury...eh.).

All this wishful thinking aside, MM and ND just need to concentrate on each game. If it falls short of a tourney berth, so be it: get better and ready for next year.

And best of continued luck to the Domers Down Under.

ND alumni need to get back on campus when available and practice with this new group.
This is a common practice that is done at UCONN.

I think they'll sneak in if they go 9-2 and win a game in the ACC tourney. A tall order, to be sure.

IF Notre Dame does what you say, they would have a record of 17-15. Don't think that's good enough unless they have wins against Louisville and Florida St. Based on what you're predicting they'll get a Win against Florida ST and/or Louisville(2) since that's three of their remaining games. It also means beating North Carolina, Syracuse and Virginia Tech. They are home games so its possible.

Oklahoma got in 2 years ago with a 16-14 record, and that didn't even include any great wins. Their only top 50 win was over South Florida (a top 25 team that year).

If ND can reach 17-15, that record will include much more quality wins (over top 50 teams) that what Oklahoma had in 2018. Their RPI will almost certainly be within range at that point, as their SOS is strong.

It's a long shot but far from impossible. It took a miracle 3 by Syracuse just to send that game to OT in Syracuse. Virginia Tech and North Carolina have some bad losses already. Louisville and Florida State have been very beatable at times as well.

Muffet's swearing and crying routine was merely stage 1: get everyone, including her rivals, to feel sorry for her. Then, disarmed by their own sympathetic response, said rivals completely lose their competitive edge. Exhibit A: Miami.

Can Miami blame their 2-5 ACC record on Muffet? Did they get confused and feel sorry for all their opponents? I think their competitive edge was gone well before the game against ND (87-41 loss at home to Louisville).

And then they bounced right back and beat Syracuse by 15. Should've fared better against a Peoples-less Notre Dame.
