What a frigging meltdown with 4 min to go!

My lord - if that exchange right there where drummond throws ball away for an easy layup and then offense falls down and it runs to another nd layup doesn't sum up this traveling circus of a season I dont know what does.

Is it possible that Calhoun goes from his most impressive season of coaching to worst in back to back years? When you have two supposed lottery picks, a team returning a large chunk off a NC team and a strong recruiting class and this is the product, something isn't adding up. Kemba was amazing but he wasn't god.

Mistake after mistake. This team doesn't learn from its mistakes. How does it get outrebounded by this team? Unreal.

I'm sure that we will hear that they had a couple of great practices before their next game and that Daniels had his best week ever.

The last couple of games ended with UC down by 3 with the ball and 5 sec on the clock trying to make Hail Mary's to tie.

I see another half court heave at the buzzer coming.

48 points in 40 minutes and that is not entirely due to ND running clock. a really pitiful performance. out rebounded, out hustled, stupid play; rock bottom thus far.

Lamb didn't realize that time started when he got the ball. He didn't need to flip it up like that. He had plenty of time.

How did I know that Nappier was going to try to be the hero there once he touched it? The kid is a liability. It's unfortunate we dont have alternatives at the guard sport because it would be addition by subtraction.

And when he was hitting 3s last game?

I mean, you saw it, Lamb had an open 15 footer and didn't take it. He passed it out. What do you want Napier to do in that situation?

Lamb was covered - he couldn't get an open look and stopped his dribble. Shabazz needs to get it back to him - not flip up one of his errant 3's in that spot when he was covered. It was off balanced and ugly, kind of his thing.

He had one game where he found a way to sink a couple wild three's/bad shots - that after he played poorly the entire game. I didn't see much other than dumb luck in that one. The kid has flat out stunk as a PG this year, I don't care about his few high scoring games. Much of the poor results of this year has a lot to do with the fact that he's played with zero control/leadership on this team. It's talented team/body without any head whatsoever.

ruffruff, wtf are our other options? you keep bashing napier; its not doing anything. Boatright sure tried but also was making the same errors napier was. I contest that we need to just run every duck**** play through lamb, like why wasn't he flashing towards the middle of the zone? and why were we playing two bigs most the game?

I thought Lamb should have stopped and taken that shot. No way to defender blocks him right there.

That's the point, we have no other options. The kid can't be pushed/benched to wake up. If we had any, I'd sit his @ss.

I mean, why has this Uconn program consistently shown levels of such offensive ineptitude at stretches, in particular against the zone - a Bilas tweet:
UConn looks like they're trying to solve a Rubik's Cube in the dark against Notre Dame's zone. No screening, overloads, penetration.
I mean, this has been something this program has ALWAYS had huge issues with. I just can't understand why recognition, adjustments can't ever be made. It's just the same old thing over and over. That's ridiculously frustrating as a fan. Listen, they don't have that perimeter star that can take an entire team on their own this year - RECALIBRATE.

No, he had a guy blanketed on top of him - he wanted to take that shot and only dumped it back to Shabazz when he couldn't get a look.
