I know I'm not the only one who is worried about missing Senior Day festivities because of traffic from Obama being at CCSU.

They are closing some roads which will create mayhem around Hartford/New Britain. I'm hoping to avoid I-84/Hartford all together by taking I-91 North but who knows if that will be an option later?

Just make sure you check the roads before you head out. THANKS Obama!

Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.

I missed the ceremony for Emeka. The traffic was backed all the way to 384. So upsetting. Calhoun criticized the fans for coming late, but I'm sure he didn't realize the traffic.

From the Boston Globe:

Obama is set to attend a round-table discussion fundraiser Wednesday for the Democratic National Committee with about 25 supporters in Cambridge, MA.

Obama is then scheduled to headline a DNC dinner in Boston at the Artists for Humanity EpiCenter with about 70 backers. The event is also intended to raise money for the party.

So my guess is he'll be long out of Connecticut before people get on the roads to go to Storrs. I've been on the highway recently about 30 minutes after his caravan. There were no backups. They do a rolling blockade of the exits going on and off the highway which actually made the traffice lighter than normal. Hopefully he causes no mayhem on the Connecticut highways.
