For one you can never go wrong putting a Southern team in even a hint of weather elements.
We've watched about 4 seasons of games where UConn consistently found ways to lose. They almost never capitalized on mistakes.
Last week UCF in the first quarter dropped two balls that cost them 11 points and instead of screwing around and allowing them to stay in the game - they buried them.
UConn got huge contributions from two units which had been questionable : the tight ends and the corners.
Throw in the chaos of two separate on campus gun arrests...
Just think you have a mediocre team going on the road with some distractions in a spot they will be uncomfortable. Their biggest strength is something UConn defends pretty well. As bad as UCF is - I think it was really important for UConn to finally blow someone out.
