We are still very solid in attendance and positioning in Men's Soccer nationally. Easily a structure that UConn should be at or near the with the top Programs.
The results for a half-dozen years from Ray Reid have been disappointing. Just very talented kids have gone through (how else to describe several TOP MLS draft picks) and repeatedly not advancing past the first few rounds. Maybe Reid does have next year set up for a solid run through our AAC and into the NCAAs; but, you are looking at the waning years in - most likely - a sport that is undergoing structural changes in College Athletics.
Then, you have the new stadium. This is bound to bring us to the level (or beyond) or UCSB or Creighton. We need to be Number One in this sport annually; or challenging for that NC regularly.
