It sucks that Pitt is defying the trend of Northeast teams (minus UConn) being buns this year. We could've brought the Lambert Trophy to Storrs

With ND, USF, Memphis, and Army remaining on 7-1 Navy’s schedule, the Midshipmen may be fortunate to avoid at least 3 more Ls. As is oft the case, all bets are off against their USMA arch rivals.

If you include FCS, Sagarin has UMass rated below:

Harvard
Monmouth
Lehigh
Yale
Dartmouth
Duqesne
Villanova
Penn
Lafayette
Princeton
URI
New Hampshire
Richmond
Maine
Towson
Holy Cross
Colgate
Sacred Heart
Stony Brook
Brown
CCSU
Cornell
Merrimack

They check in just a few slots better than Bryant -- who they lost to at home.

Monmouth, who is quarterbacked by another Maine transfer (Derek Robertson), is currently rated above both Buffalo and Delaware, as are Lehigh and Harvard.

UConn was awarded the trophy in 2010 following the Fiesta Bowl season

I'm wondering how New Haven is doing in their season...I know they are playing FCS, D2 and D3, but I wonder if they are better than UMess (which needs to step up their program.)

Another rando poll: College Football Poll.com

(spoiler alert we're still behind Duke)

A far less random 58 IIRC on ESPN this morning. And 71 in the Sagarins (losses to the 140 and 143 ranked teams take a toll. Clearly moving up, but Duke should be ahead of us based on body of work (and that losing a road game by 3 doesn’t show superiority either way).
