Check out these high school uniforms from some baseball team out in North Hollywood, CA...

We are taking over the world!

Same Husky logo as we have. Not too far from me either!

I had someone pull up to me on the streets the other day, beep at me to roll down my window (i thought he was going to tell me I had a light out, or left my phone on top of the car or something", and he's like "I LOVE UConn!!". I have a UConn license plate cover and a Husky decal on my back window. Thought that was pretty cool!

I would assume that they received permission to use the logo, or if not, that would be a violation of copyright?

The new Huskies logo is very generic. The White Husky was unique. These guys had it before us.

It’s about time. You can’t swing a dead cat without hitting a high school team that uses Sparty’s logo.

Hope we’re getting trademark royalties.

using our husky logo AND the UNC style logo for the same team is weird lol

edit, i guess its technically the holy cross logo but in carolina blue

I'm very confident that we have copyrighted our logo. I do know however that we cannot copyright everything that would be reasonably close and as an image of a Husky wouldn't be proprietary, they likely don't have to vary it all that much from ours to avoid copyright infringement.

I see it as free advertising.

Love that. I represent UConn with championship shirts almost every weekend hoping to get some acknowledgement from the casuals (or jealous Syracuse fans here in western NY).

On that note, dawg, update your sig!

The high school I went to used Georgia Tech’s logo (they’re the Green Hornets), and another high school in our conference uses UConn’s (they’re the Huskies). Another uses the Patriots logo.

OK Mr. Scrooge.

I for one am okay with youth teams taking our logo.

No one tell the Atlanta Braves that my Rocky Hill little league team was using their logo

“Swing a dead cat”

I’m totally stealing that.

Edit: apparently an old nautical saying. Learn something new every day. Still incorporating into my repertoire.

I wish I could, but the mods won't allow it. The signature takes up too much space. It's either pretty much delete it or leave it as is. I get "error - signature is too large" whenever i try to edit it.
