I imagine Durr will rebound from her really poor effort yesterday so Louisville comfortably. (> 10)

Man, people are so salty about A'ja around here.

There's a lot to be said for letting someone have their moment.

True but it's just a pet peeve of mine. No idea why it bothers me so much, but it just does. I will do my best to reign it in and stick to the Original Thread.

Yes, I get some of the angst, however, she is still a very gifted a skill basketball player and this was evidenced by what she did last night. That said, how so many of the “talking heads” forget there are a few others who are just as good is beyond me. Last year, there was more even talk about multiple player of the year candidates. Wilson is NOT as “slam dunk” winner this year as Kelsey Plum was last year but she is a deserving candidate!

Well it’s funny you say that because if you dig back in the threads from a year ago you’ll find multiple posters on here who called into question Plum’s merits as well.

Award buzz is very self-perpetuating. You see that in all sports. And in the Oscars and such. I guess it gives people something to talk about, which is pretty much the point, I suppose.

That’s too bad the 7-0 run occurred as now Louisville has momentum back. Wes does a nice job with less talent. I am not optimistic for the second half for State, 3 games in 3 days takes its toll in the second half.

IMO ACC is overrated. WCBB in general is having a down year. Louisville does not look like a #1 seed during most seasons, and N.D. is still considered a NC threat regardless of their injuries and lack of player depth. I just can't wait to hear some of the preposterous spinning that will be going on from the talking heads from here on out. The NCAA and ESPN will do everything in their power to get Miss. St. to the FF . Probably the only reasonable threat left to UConn, along with Oregon IMO.

Louisville is a 2nd half team. Walz, is a very good half time coach making any needed changes.

As I was typing, Louisville up 46-38 going on a 10 - 2 run.

NC State giving Louisville a run for its money. I've never been afraid of Louisville, and now even less so.

Kudos to NC State for playing tough. Not at all impressed with Louisville - not running much offense. Too many sloppy passes. If they pull it out and play like this against ND, they’ll get trampled.

They're doing a good job of face-guarding Durr.
