Harry M I really liked your post. I believe we have won the ACC championship for thirteen of the past fifteen years. We have not lost to an ACC team since the 06/07 season. During this period we are 37 and 5 against ACC teams. We lost to North Carolina 3 times (04/05, 05/06 & 06/07) and Duke twice (03/04 & 05/06). Since both teams have indicated that they will no longer schedule UCONN as an opponent, I guess we will have to hope they meet in the NCAA Tournament. Besides playing Duke and North Carolina we also played Florida State often, but of course we won each and every game with them. I believe the only scheduled ACC team this coming season is Florida State. But that's fine, I'm sure we that although their members consider our conference as weak and theirs as the best conference in America, in the entire 34 year history of the NCAA Women's Tournament the ACC has only won 2 NC (Maryland in 06 & North Carolina in 94). The AAC is only two years old and has already won as many NC as the ACC. Right now the old Big East has won the most with 9 and the SEC is second with 8 (all Tennessee). Let the season begin.
