Some RU poster was lamenting that N.W. never coached Don Brown during his run. Terry Caulley wasn't too shabby until he got injured. Neither was our fullback (Deon) who ended up playing for the Dallas Cowboys. But let's not let facts get in the way of a rant.

He is a very good OL coach. Our kids absolutely loved him when he was with the Huskies. He has some good lines and very good players in his days in Storrs.

Although we ended up losing the home game to BCU ... I rememeber pretty vividly how NW installed a package that motioned Deon out of the backfield and tried to isolate him against an LB. NW was pretty creative and usually found a way to get the ball in the playmaker's hands.
