I loved watching him in an interview or around other people. I remember him making people nervous because he's the guy that 'would go there' when most wouldn't and he was quick.

It's too bad he never got a 'vehicle' that really matched his talent and showed just how funny he was. But, from what I read, he was just fine with standup and loved performing.

My favorite comedian. Lots of people didn’t get his humor. I don’t trust those people (mrs RI included). He 100 percent did the comedy his way. Far and away best weekend update anchor, hammering the same jokes. I’ll miss him.
