like to keep an eye on these for RPI purposes. Here’s Tulsa’s:

Damn, is anyone really gonna want to see Tulsa vs. Dayton at Mohegan?

That Nevada team is supposed to be real good, right? Can't imagine Tulsa will compete with them, but that's a good game to have on the schedule.

You'd be surprised by how many Dayton fans there are in the wild.

Nevada will have a number of new pieces, maybe Tulsa can catch them before they gel. Highly doubt it, but maybe

If you thought Georgetown's OOC schedule last season was atrocious...

USF's OOC Schedule w/ RPI:

Tampa D2
Alabama A&M 350
Austin Peay 165
Ohio 205
Florida A&M 332
Citadel 281
Stetson 325
Colgate 185
Charlotte 323
App State 250
FIU 295
Alcorn State 348
Fairleigh Dickinson 254

Sad thing is, it is doubtful they make it through this without at least two losses. Likely more.

Every other AAC team will pay an RPI price for the USF OOC schedule. It is even worse for UConn (along with UCF, ECU, Houston, SMU, Temple, and Tulane) as it plays them twice.

Why the hell do schools do this? I guess they must truly not give a flying !@#$ about the conference or basketball in general. It basically hurts them as a selling point going forward in many ways, no least of which is the conference RPI and Dance partners. It would be better for them if they had a strong schedule and the subsequent losses to go along with that.

There should be a league mandate that you schedule to a certain degree or else you forfeit a portion of your share money. Or something.

Infuriating.

That's a nice schedule for Duf's last season.

LaSalle #205
Detriot Mercy #318
Georgia #80
Loyola (MD) #323
VCU #136
St. John's #95 or Cal #223
Missouri #49
Saint Joseph's #149
Villanova #1
UMass #242
Davidson #56
Drexel #243
Penn #113

Avg: 164 w/ St. John's and 174 w/ Cal

Assuming you give Tampa an RPI of 400, that is an avg RPI of 285....holy crap.....maybe they pull a 13-0 start like Rutgers?

This isn't the worst RPI schedule yet. Avg of 182 if they play S. Illinois. If they play UMass it is 193....still better than Houston....

Didn’t USF lose like 15 of 13 scholarship players? I just assume they’ll be rolling out a starting 5 of guys they found at pickup games in downtown Tampa. Have to assume nobody wanted to play against that.

What you talking bout Willis?

They have superstars inbound:

Madut Akec from Bradenton, FL has an offer from Arizona St
3* Xavier Castaneda from Whitney Young in Chicago has offers from Iowa St, Missouri, Tulsa, and Wichita State among his 13 offers
3* Michael Durr from Atlanta had 8 offers to include North Florida, Georgetown, Memphis, Pittsburgh, Texas A&M, and Texas Tech
3* Rashun Williams from Edison, GA had 12 offers...FGCU and UAB included!
JC Antun Maricevic had offers from BYU, Nebraska, Tulsa, Utah State, and Wichita State

The Bulls are getting out of the basement...they are going to sweep through the AAC like a bull in that race in Spain... ;)

If that's the case then fine, but they still could have found better dreck. They could probably have nabbed a ton of games in the high 100s/low 200s.
