"If we don't do this now, this could happen in the future" A little fear mongering to grease the wheels of progress. The real reasons were always three fold. 1) Gain more exposure in major markets. 2)Open recruiting pipelines for East Coast Students & student athletes to attend conference schools. 3)Get The BTN top rate in areas with major cable/satellite subscriber bases.
