Great rivalries need proximity, something on the line, teams that aren't from different ends of the football power spectrum, and teams that are relevant. Alabama-Auburn, and Ohio State-Michigan are great rivalries.....Indiana-Purdue? Vanderbilt-Tennessee? not so much...they lack the elements. [/QUOTE]
