That model is more complicated than first thought, once each members finances became involved. This is quite a complex process, with many elements outside the Big 12 involved. Other P5 conferences are watching this very closely I'm told.

Lastly, CBS Sports is more of a major player now than a partner in many issues involving the conferences.
