Texas A&M and Mizzou made boatloads for the SEC. Colorado and Utah made some, and will payoff even better down the road. WVU and TCU kept the Big12 together, thus keeping Texas in the grasps of ESPN. ESPN has the AAC on the cheap. Why would they pay that much more not really making more money. Texas can't go anywhere without the consent of their LHN overlords, so why would they ok any changes? How are you going to convince both ESPN and Texas to give up the LHN? You aren't. How are you going to renegotiate a contract that you are already over paid for with a look-in that would give you more?
