[QUOTE="DarthGrumpy, post: 1195743, member: 2141"] Just as a FYI, Temple is considering an on-campus football stadium. A key factors looks to be that their current lease at Lincoln Field is set to expire driving up the annual cost from $1 million per year to $2 million per year. The on-campus stadium concept for Temple would be about a 30 to 40K stadium costing well north of $100 million. A decision maybe made before this semester ends. From a straight money view point, it is not a good picture. The article also points out that UAB recently shot down the opportunity to build their own on-campus for $75 million in 2011 and their football program is also now history.
