On the other hand, The BIG and it's tie to the CIC balances out the equation in that in a bad football year (or 4 or 5), the money and the academic ties prevent any school from leaving.  The ACC does not have that.

Still, I believe that the XII will break-up first.  No matter how well Baylor, TCU, and K State does, its the conference of U Texas and that makes it very unstable.
