We have a great OOC slate next year but this is a huge bummer honestly. Hosting Maryland, Wisconsin, or Michigan (in CT) would have been awesome.

Not really disrespect. There was a thread about it a couple weeks ago.

The Games have pitted Big East teams against Big Ten teams in early November each year since 2015. UConn was not a member of the Big East when the Gavitt Games began, and since the contracts and pairings had largely been determined before UConn joined the league three seasons ago, the Huskies have yet to play in them.

Thank you voice of reason. As was stated in said thread several times, contracts can be amended. OTOH, you have to figure UConn will be spoke of during every Gavitt Game explaining the snub. There's that.
