Someone will have to explain how this game was officiated to me.

The disparity in calls in the boxscore and the disparity I see on the court are diametrically opposed.

Forgetting the rest of the game, forgetting Vander Blue essentially cross checking Napier and getting to the line, etc., I just saw Jae Crowder put an elbow in AO's kidney and push him 10'.

Foul trouble decided this game in the first half and restarted Marquette in the second half.

Worst reffing I can remember and we never had a chance because of it. It really seems like the refs have zero respect/fear of Blaney, can't ever imagine a Calhoun coached team getting screwed like that.

the officiating was horrible with some calls being downright laughable. that being said, you need a will to win and this team doesn't have it. we can point fingers all we want. fishy blames the officiating. i blame blaney and boatright. that first half sequence with wolf in the game was mind blowing. the only thing worse was the technical by boatright. both sequences led to marquette runs and both caused uconn to lose another ugly one.

They did numerous times, and a couple of times fouls were called on them.

Marquette played pretty good defense, and their defenders were bigger and stronger than all of UConn's perimeter players. Lot's of hand-checking.

Reffing was horrible but even if you had 3 Boneyarders in black/white we were not ready to take this game.

They were stronger and they were smarter. However, the refs did suck and made so many bad calls at critical points that it did really hurt any chance of our fragile team getting some confidence back. Crowder drove Alex 12 feet across the lane out of bounds and they congratulate him on toughness.

Having said that about the refs, I don't think our team is ready to win a game like this against a tough, smart, experienced team.

With Wolf & Olander on the floor at the same time, it's like 3 on 5.

way too slow, but AD and AO get 2 fouls in the first half just about every game.
exactly....that's another intangible. AO gets a stupid blocking or moving screen call in the first minute or two of every game.
